Guidelines for Writing Articles for Submission to the Nelson County Democratic Committee Newsletter

We welcome letters to the editor or articles from our readers for inclusion in the Newsletter .  We will be experimenting with this idea so  be patient while we work out the kinks.  As a starting point, here are guidelines.

·   Please limit submissions to less than 300 words and submit them as the text of an email to: NCDCNews@gmail.com

·   Your submission must state the name and address of the writer. 

·   To make sure all important information fits the word limit, we suggest that your opening paragraph summarize your key points and what you want the readers or the NCDC do. What are you trying to achieve?

·   The remaining paragraphs can add detail, facts or personal observations that support your key points. 

 Articles with misleading information, profanity, or hate speech will not be published.  Articles may be copyedited for compliance with standard grammar and punctuation rules, correct spelling and clarity before publication.  

We will respond to everyone submitting an article.  Your interest is appreciated.
