Hello Afton Friends and Neighbors:

I’m asking for your support of my candidacy and your vote in the November 2021 election as North District Supervisor in Nelson County.

It has been my privilege to call Nelson County home for the past 24 years. My husband, David and I built our unique straw-bale eco-home here in Afton to live in the beauty of Nelson County and the Blue Ridge. It has been my vision to build community in Afton and in the Rockfish Valley.  The role of Supervisor is to work with others that represent all five of Nelson Districts for the betterment of the County serving all its citizens and residents.   

It is time for the Comprehensive Plan to be updated with a complete review of zoning changes needed and limits on the use of Special Use Permits in the Rockfish Valley.   Read More
