Congratulations to Our New Congressional Candidate!  Now on to November 5th!

The results of the June 18 primary are in, and Gloria Witt is now our Democratic nominee to run for the U.S. House of Representatives from the 5th District. We couldn't be more excited to work with such a wonderful candidate as we campaign to flip this congressional seat from red to blue and get Democrats elected in November. Thanks also to Gary Terry and Paul Riley for their exemplary contributions to a positive, issues-focused primary race.  Meanwhile, the GOP race between MAGA extremists Bob Good and John McGuire was too close to call by our publication deadline. However the GOP race turns out, we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us to defend democracy and secure real representation for everyone in the Fifth District

It’s now time to focus our full attention on the critical general election in November. Let's all of us commit to getting the Democratic message out.

Democrats are about providing a safer, more inclusive and more prosperous future for all of us. 

To help you make these points, I thought I’d share the NCDC flyer that highlights some of the many Democratic accomplishments over the last three years and makes clear the consequences of MAGA Republicans taking control. What the Biden Administration has achieved amounts to incredibly good news amid all the chaos out there – and it gives me hope. Because Joe Biden and the Democrats really will keep on delivering for us over the next four years.
