Dear Nelson County Democrats and Supporters:

As 2024 comes to an end, I want to wish you all a happy holiday and a wish for a 2025 that will be better than is feared!  Trump may sit in the White House again, but we will never back down from upholding our values and fighting to make sure we protect our democracy.

While we worked hard, we were not rewarded with the election of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. However, we did re-elect our Senator Tim Kaine, and we can be proud that Virginia is still a blue state.  We have a big year coming up, with races for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general on the radar.  And we have local elections for our Board of Supervisor members and for School Board members.

Many thanks to all of you for your efforts this year and rest up and enjoy the time off.  Have a good holiday and we will see you again in the new year.
